A serious note.

So I am technically a licensed esthetician.  Just waiting for paperwork to come in the mail so I can register for my license, so I can then wait for it to come in the mail.  So lots of working at the unnamed fresh cosmetics company and lots of red wine drinking (wine's great, so full of antioxidants).

Since it's summer, at least in temperature, we should talk about the sun.  The sun, that gorgeous star in the day time sky that gives us super doses of vitamin D and lovely bronzed skin.  The sun is super important and you should go outside and get at least a half an hour a day.  It boosts your immune system, makes your bones stronger and gives you that boost of happy juice that we all need.  It can damage your skin, though.  So after you've gotten your half an hour, put those sunglasses on, and slather yourself with sunscreen, as I don't want any of my dear readers to come down with a case of Melanoma.  Please also watch your moles.  It's best to remember to look at the borders, size, colour, and texture of the mole.  See your dermatologist once a year to check on those some times fashionable "beauty marks".
